Oops, I did it again!

I am kinda starting to sound like that Britney Spears song, "Oops I Did it Again". Yep, I have gotten behind on my blogging. BUT, with good reason. First of all, the flying pig decided to land in my house leaving me to tend to a very sick two year old. All work was put on hold for my sweet baby. Now that she is feeling much better I can get back to blogging. Secondly, drum roll please, I managed to turn out one Diva Party on Friday, ten family sessions on Saturday, one Bridal Session, one Family Session and one session for the Forest Fire Department on Sunday...PLUS..... get all of the pictures edited and online for my clients to view. WHEW!!!!!! (Top that PW! :o) That made me tired just typing it. I PROMISE, once again, not to get behind. I figure if I keep telling myself that it will eventually happen. Below are just a few of the sessions that kept me busy this weekend.

Arielle: Sweet 16

What a day this girl had. First of all, it was Arielle's Sweet 16 Birthday. Her day started off with her Sweet 16 Photo Session by yours truly. Then after the shoot was over she became the proud recipient of a Nikon DSLR camera (woo hoo), followed by an evening ride with her closest friends in the Hummer limo from Premier Limousine Service. WOW! That's enough to make anyone jealous. Here are just a few of my favs.

The Stinnett-Dowdy Clan: (AKA my BFF and family)

So, many of you don't know that I have had a "BFF" for some thirty odd years. (By the way, she is older than me!) Since she knew I was going to be doing sessions all day on Saturday she asked if I could fit her family in. Well, of course I could because, after all, that is what BFF's do. :o) To back up a minute, two weeks ago she became my ENGAGED BFF so I thought it was great that they wanted to get their first 'complete' family picture just in time for the holidays. So without further adue, here is my BFF, her main man Dale and ALLLLLL the kids. :o) Love you guys!

The Hunt Family

Oh my goodness! This was definitely the day of adorable boys as you will see in the next few posts. Little Joseph turned three this weekend so mom and dad wanted to get some family pictures done for the occassion. He was so proud of that number three as you can see in the second picture.

Mr. Weston

Talk about pure cuteness! Weston wasn't one bit shy of the camera. And of course while we were out there it was a must that we include mom in a couple of the shots.

Grayson & Luke: (My adorable nephews)

This weekend my two adorable nephews came in from Christiansburg for a visit. Along with their visit came their fall photo shoot. Needless to say, Grayson is a major ham! Luke on the other hand, well Luke's Luke. We did make progress this visit. At least he didn't scream when I spoke to him in fact he actually let me hold him. Chalk one up for Auntie Kim. We shall see how long that lasts. Anyway, we had a beautiful day all the way around and were able to capture some priceless shots of these two muchkins.

Busy, Busy, Busy

Ok, so I know that is no excuse to not blog because blogging gets me business. However, I have been extremely busy! Not only will you see by looking at the following sessions, I have also had two weddings (soon to be posted), a preschool and a class reunion all in the last month. Oh, and not to mention the Lynchburg Bridal Expo that was held on October 4. By the way, another awesome show I might add.
Have I slept much, no. :o) Have I been a little crabby? (don't ask my family that) smile.... I hate getting behind but I am now starting to get caught up. I promise to blog better in the upcoming months. Just keep fussing at me.
Until then, enjoy the pictures...

The Housand Family

I have to admit, my heart was a little heavy during this photo shoot today. I have been doing the Housand's pictures ever since Miss Brinkley was a newborn. Today was the last session I will be doing with them. (sniff sniff) They are packing up and heading south to Charlotte. Bryan works with the Pirates and has been promoted. With that promotion came the move. It has been so much fun to watch this little girl grow from a tiny little six pound baby to the absolutely adorable little girl she is today. To capture a bad picture of her is impossible. So, here are the Housand's final pictures as Virginia residents. Please keep in touch and best of luck in Charlotte. I will miss you guys!

Miss Emerson

Dispite having a cold and not feeling the best, Miss Emerson managed to let go of a couple of smiles for us on Sunday. The leaves are at their peak this week and are absolutely beautiful.
