New Logo & Web Address

Some of you may have noticed a little change in my logo. I have been working on the new design for a couple of days. After many different ideas and toying with numerous designs, I kept going back to one of my previous designs.

I have also made a slight change in my web address. The new address is www.captureitphotoevents.com however it will still be directed to the www.capphotodesign.com site. Same site, different web address.

That's all for now. I can't make too many changes at one time. :o)

Dayna & Clarence: Engaged

This past weekend I ventured out to Amherst to shoot Dayna and Clarence's engagement session. Even with the chance of rain and cloudy skies, we were able to capture some great shots. Originally from Amherst, it was great being back out there. I thoroughly enjoyed the session with this fun couple and playing catch up with 'family' afterwards. I am looking forward to our future sessions and the December wedding. See you soon...

Nightmare

This past week has been a nightmare for me. Last weekend my hard drive crashed! I had been so busy that I had not backed up my sessions for about a week and a half. It is so unlike me not to back up my sessions. I do that almost weekly. Now I will be doing it daily! Note: If you hear your PC unit ticking like a clock, CUT IT OFF! I let it tick for about thirty minutes before I even called my IT "Genius". To make a long story short, I am now rescheduling all of the sessions I have lost. It makes me sick when I think about it. To make matters worse, I had not backed up any of the expo info nor had I backed up our family pictures from the past year! Live and learn, although it was a very hard lesson!

Miss Ryleigh

My college roommate and her daughter came in to visit this week. Actually, we weren't roommates because we all had private rooms because we were "spoiled", but Stacy, Courtney and I were inseparable during our years at Southern Sem. We took the advantage of Ryleigh's good mood to snap some pictures of her. After the third clothing change, she had decided she had had enough of the flashes. Here is a little sampling of the pictures we were able to get. I wish you all weren't so far away. Love you all!

The Polk's

Allison and Brian were full of giggles today as we spent a beautiful afternoon at the Old City Cemetery and the Hollins Mill Waterfall. Here is a sneak peek of some of the wonderful pictures I was able to capture of these two. Enjoy!

The Paul's

This year my son has had the opportunity to have one of Thomas Jefferson Elementary's best teachers, Mrs. Paul. She has spent so much time working with him and encouraging him in his school work. With it being Spring Break this week, I was finally able to get her children scheduled for some pictures. We had a great time down at the Old City Cemetery capturing their childhood.

Dara & Brian: Engaged

I had a beautiful day to head out and take some engagement pictures of this awesome couple. Both sports buffs, Dara and Brian wanted to venture out to the stadium to get some unique shots. I am really looking forward to their August 1 wedding. Congratulations guys!

Baby Arthur: Coming Soon

Baby Arthur is going to make an appearance into this world in about four more weeks so mom and dad wanted to capture this special time before his arrival. Congratulations and I look forward to meeting your newest addition.

Kayleigh: ONE

For Miss Kayleigh's first birthday, her mom and dad decided to capture this milestone with some portraits. Here is a little view of the fun we had, including her digging into her first cake. Happy Birthday Kayleigh!

Final Weekend of Bunny Pictures

I finally finished up two weekends worth of Easter pictures with the live bunny. I had so much fun capturing the innocent faces of the little ones and their expressions when the bunny came out.
