Nicolette: SENIOR

Ok, I am trying to figure out if we did Senior Portraits or a Modeling Session. I had a blast with Nicolette yesterday as we wandered around Lynchburg. I think we managed to find all of the perfect spots to capture her fun loving and spunky attitude. Of course, we couldn't end the session without getting completely wet in the waterfall. Heidi & Robert: Engaged

Several Sunday's ago, I headed up to Sweet Briar College for Heidi and Robert's engagement session. That big yellow ball in the sky put out a lot of heat that day but it didn't stop us from getting some awesome shots. Soon after, we headed up to Robert's farm for some fun "country" shots. I am looking forward to seeing you all again in November.

2010 SENIOR MODEL CONTEST

We all know an upcoming Senior or know someone that knows an upcoming Senior. From June 16 through June 30, I will be taking submissions for CAPture.it Photography’s 2010 Senior Model.

I will have a panel of three judges choose 10 finalists. Then, you will have the opportunity to vote on your choice for CAPture.it’s 2010 Senior Model.

WHAT WILL THE WINNER RECEIVE?

A FREE Senior Session
A FREE Portrait Package
PLUS, their portraits featured on all advertising materials for the upcoming year.

Each finalist will also recieve goodies!

SO, HOW DOES THIS WORK?

Email them, call them, stop them on the street, and let them know about the contest!

HOW TO ENTER:
1. Entry deadline is June 30, 2009 at midnight.
2. The contest is open to any 2010 Senior.
3. Email a non-professional, recent photograph to capphotodesign@verizon.net.
4. Photos must have been taken within the last month.
5. The ten finalists pictures will then be posted on the CAPture.it Blog for voting.
5. The Grand Prize Winner will be chosen by blog readers on July 6, 2009.

Payton and Jazzy

So, what do you get your 83 year old grandfather for his birthday when he has everything imaginable? A portrait of course! That is exactly what Payton did for her grandfather. How precious are these two! I guess I can officially add "Pet Portraits" to my list of services. (smile)

Joshua: SENIOR

First of all let me start by saying, for someone who doesn't like to have his pictures taken, Joshua did one heck of a job working the camera today! Any one of those guitar pictures would make an awesome album cover. Besides, I don't know about you, but I see a resemblence of Jason Aldean in the third guitar picture on the train tracks. Check out Jason's website and you will see what I am talking about. Anyway, back to Joshua....we had a ton of fun roaming the streets of The Burg today with his mom and dad finding fun spots for his senior pictures. After dealing with the heat Joshua decided he was going to cool off in the water. It made for the perfect ending. Here is a sneak peek!
