Amy & Josh: Engaged

I met Amy while shooting Dara and Brian's wedding earlier this month. This awesome couple is getting married in two weeks but wanted to head downtown for a quick engagement session. A friend of mine, and fellow photographer, Pete Wilson will be shooting their wedding. I know they will have a great time with him. After walking around downtown, we found some great locations to get those 'artsy' shots she was looking for. Here are just a few of my favorites. Victoria Hall: Senior

After our first scheduled session was greeted with a torential downpour, we managed to find some sunny skies on Monday. Victoria is one of the sweetest girls I have met and sooooo polite! I mean, I know you are supposed to respect those older than you but you can call me Kim. When people call me Mrs. Jennings, it makes me feel OLD! I mean, I'm not that old.....am I? Hummm. Anyway, we had a great evening out in Lynchburg capturing some beautiful shots of this girl. Enjoy.....

Molly Nash: Senior

We went out on Sunday for Molly's Senior Session. Although it was threatening rain, we managed to dodge the drops and were able to get some awesome shots. Here are just a few of my favorites.

Ashley McConkey: Waterfall

You may remember Ashley from her session last week. We headed down to the waterfall however there was a heavy rain the night before making the water muddy. Not the case tonight. Her boyfriend also decided to tag along so, you know me, I had to get him in a couple of the shots. Hopefully you will see his Senior Session in a few weeks. (Hint Hint) :o)

Dani Mayhew: Senior

My whole goal when photographing Seniors is to capture their personality. I have to say that I definitely did that today. Dani had so many different expressions and I had so much fun capturing them all. Here is a sample of our day out.

The past few weeks have been extremely busy with Senior Sessions. Cymric is an upcoming Senior at Jefferson Forest. We headed out to some of my favorite locations for her Senior pictures.

I do believe that we picked the hottest evening of the summer to venture out for Cidney's Senior Session! At 6pm it was still in the 90's however that didn't detur us much in capturing some amazing pictures.

Ashley McConkey: 2010 Senior Model Contest Winner

Ashley McConkey was the Capture.it Photography's 2010 Senior Model Winner. We ventured out to start off her Senior Session with the threat of rain but fortunately it held off. Hitting the usual favorite Senior spots, we managed to capture the bubbly personality inside of Ashley. We had planned on ending the evening at the waterfall however, forgetting there was a downpour the night before, the water was a murkey brown. Needless to say we opted to skip getting wet and postponed that until next week. Stay tuned for some more awesome waterfall shots with Ashley.
