Busy, Busy, Busy

Ok, so I know that is no excuse to not blog because blogging gets me business. However, I have been extremely busy! Not only will you see by looking at the following sessions, I have also had two weddings (soon to be posted), a preschool and a class reunion all in the last month. Oh, and not to mention the Lynchburg Bridal Expo that was held on October 4. By the way, another awesome show I might add.
Have I slept much, no. :o) Have I been a little crabby? (don't ask my family that) smile.... I hate getting behind but I am now starting to get caught up. I promise to blog better in the upcoming months. Just keep fussing at me.
Until then, enjoy the pictures...

The Housand Family

I have to admit, my heart was a little heavy during this photo shoot today. I have been doing the Housand's pictures ever since Miss Brinkley was a newborn. Today was the last session I will be doing with them. (sniff sniff) They are packing up and heading south to Charlotte. Bryan works with the Pirates and has been promoted. With that promotion came the move. It has been so much fun to watch this little girl grow from a tiny little six pound baby to the absolutely adorable little girl she is today. To capture a bad picture of her is impossible. So, here are the Housand's final pictures as Virginia residents. Please keep in touch and best of luck in Charlotte. I will miss you guys!

Miss Emerson

Dispite having a cold and not feeling the best, Miss Emerson managed to let go of a couple of smiles for us on Sunday. The leaves are at their peak this week and are absolutely beautiful.

Jessica & Laura: Diva Birthday

Ok, yes, I went a little picture posting crazy but can you blame me? Look at these girls! To celebrate their 15th birthday they requested a 'Diva Party' on a smaller, more personal, scale. So this past Friday we set out to downtown Lynchburg to get creative. These two had no problem with that. I am going to stop writing because the pictures speak for themselves. I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them.....

Xander Bowen: Newborn

Our good friends, Megan and Larry, recently adopted their second child last month. Completing their family of four, I felt it was only proper to give this little man his very own session. Lucky for me, he liked me which is more than I can say for his sister. I am still convinced I will never get her to smile for me. Here are just a few of the shots of Mr. Xander Bowen.

The Polks: Kids

These kids cracked me up. From one extreme to the other, I think they have that love/hate relationship. I couldn't help but post the third picture. They were so adorable!

Andreal Braxton: Bridal

It was so much fun doing Andreal's bridal session and wedding. Twenty years ago we were all in high school together. Wow...that seems like such a long time ago. But one thing for sure, Andreal and her twin sister Annette have not changed a bit. They are still the fun loving girls I cheered with during our high school years. Here is a glimpse into her bridal session. Her wedding will be posted soon.

Lindsey Morris: Senior

The Senior season is starting to wind down from the summer. Rounding out the summer group is Lindsey from RHS. With her two best friends along, and her birthday weekend, we set out downtown to find some great locations for her shoot. We even managed to hit the top of the Holiday Inn for some city views. Here's a peek....
