Angie Kent: TTD

Camera shy? R-I-G-H-T! Angie and I set out for a TTD session. You don't have to wear a bridal gown to pull this off. It's all about creativity and having fun. It's amazing the pictures you can get with a $10 dress and a $15 pair of shoes!

Lunchbag on Main

If you haven't tried the new restaurant in the Holiday Inn Select downtown, run don't walk! You will be amazed by the culinary talents of celebrity chef, Michelle Hamrick. It all started with the Holiday Inn Selects General Manager, Tony Camm. He created the "Making the Chef" competition in search of a celebrity style chef for the new restaurant. I was lucky enough to be chosen as one of the twenty judges and was treated to three awesome dinners from the three finalists. At the end of the week we had to choose our favorite...............mine WON! Michelle Hamrick was chosen as the new celebrity chef! Over the past few months I have not only been able to enjoy her gourmet food but have also had the priviledge of getting to know Michelle. She is awesome! I don't know of any other way to put it.
On another note, Tony Camm asked me to design a logo with the new restaurant name. Now I know many of you are wondering how in the world they came up with Lunchbag on Main. The hotel owners wanted a name that had ties to Lynchburg. During the war, the soldiers would travel through Lynchburg and while they were here they would get their meals in "Lunchbags". Whether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner, they were presented in "Lunchbags". Hense the name of the new restaurant, Lunchbag on Main. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner and features a full service bar (Chris will be bartending so stop by and visit him! :o). Their grand opening is set for August 5. Stay tuned for more pictures and fun filled events that will take place there.

Bad Circus: The Band

Ok, I am going to harrass these guys once again....."Where are your instruments?" I met up with the members of Bad Circus for their band photo shoot. Once everyone got there I asked them, "Where are your instruments?" They all looked at each other and laughed! :o) Needless to say, we were still able to get some good shots of them. The next time they are in town we are planning a continuation of their shoot, hopefully with instruments. See you soon!

Jessica Cash: Senior

I am really starting to feel old. Here I am taking senior pictures of the children of my classmates from Amherst. Again, where has the time gone? Here is a sneak peek of Miss Jessica's session.

Derrick & Samantha: TTD

I have so much fun working with Derrick and Samantha. It all started last June when we travelled to DC for their wedding. As soon as the wedding was over, Derrick made a comment about 'Trashing the Dress'. You should have seen the look on Samantha's face! Now, a year later here we are, 'Trashing the Dress'! So off we went to the parkway. Unfortunately, the day before we had a heavy rain and did not realize that the waterfall would be raging! We made the best of the afternoon and found some fun spots out of the water. Several weeks later, with no previous rain, we headed back to the parkway. This time the water was low, the waterfall was beautiful and we captured some amazing shots. Enjoy!

Jessi Lynn: Senior

This summer has been crazy with senior sessions. I love working with these girls and guys and learning about what their futures hold. Jessi Lynn will be a senior at William Campbell and is a future EMT. I wish her the best of luck this year!

As you can tell, we had a ton of fun trashing her formal!
*Side Note: No formals were harmed during this process! :o)

Teegen Bowen: ONE

I can't believe Miss T is ONE! Where in the world has the time gone? I can remember like it was just yesterday when her mom and dad received the call to fly to Utah to meet their baby girl. What a wonderful journey it has been. Now, they are getting ready to embark on another wonderful journey in October when her baby brother arrives. Congratulations guys, I love you!
